Thatcher's funeral today
Margaret Thatcher’s funeral is today. It’s going to be held under some pomp and fun fair. I just think in this time of British austerity, the funeral should be privatized. I’m just playing around but that still can make sense considering some quarters consider her as the politician who made strides in implementing full-scale free market mode of governing and played a huge part in convincing Reagan, the then American President. To get a clearer picture of what really went into the mind of Thatcher, she supported the Apartheid regime in South Africa. Today some sections of the so-called world elite consider her a hero. The state of opinion and which opinion is given airtime and considered a “world’ view is just absurd in this day and age. I will try to right my clear thoughts on a person some people want to place on the right side of history.
