The Pope resigns

Pope Benedict 16 announce that he is going to resign at the end of February because of old age and possibly health problems. It was an unexpected announcement but this will surely put the world's catholic population in a quandary as to how they are going to select their next pontiff. Are they going to select a non-European, possibly from Latin America or Africa or another issue such as age will preoccupy them. Within two months all questions will be answered when we welcome the arrival of a new Pope.
