SABC 3 should be serious

There was an advert which appeared on SABC 3 in August celebrating women's month. Something peculiar about that advert confirms my thinking on how 'colonized' some sections of South Africa still are. The advert was featuring women in their various occupations from fire-fighters, doctors, but there was one particular soldier featured. The thing about that soldier was that she was wearing an American uniform. That's sad considering the SABC ought to first celebrate the trials and tribulations of South African women first. Why feature Americans? Come-on South Africans, the hey days of Apartheid should be over, period.
