Bolt is the sprint King!
The men's 100 metres final lived up to it's epic billing. Jamaican great, Usain Bolt proved to us that he's the sprint king by winning the race in an Olympic Record time of 9.63 seconds. The time was the second fastest of all time, second only to his world record run during the World Championships of 2009. This means Bolt is undoubtebly the fastest man on the planet.
Now attention shifts to the 200 metres semis and finals on Wednesday were Bolt is expectedly to outshine his competitors. During the 100 metres, there was a good showing by Yohan Blake (9.72s), Justin Gatlin (9.79s) and Tyson Gay (9.80s) who were second, third and fourth respectively.
