Victory for "Obamacare"
A few hours ago, the US Supreme Court passed a favourable judgement towards US President, Barack Obama over the Affordable Care Act, nicknamed the Obamacare by critiques in what might turn out to be a defining moment for Obama's reelection bid. I will not waste my time getting into the entire specifics of the judgement. What worried me about the judgement was the partisan manner in which the judges voted. US Chief Justice Chris Roberts was the one who made the deciding vote, making it 5-4. This makes me wonder why the american jurispundence isn't specific on issues about justice but rather takes sides the same way their politics does. The Obamacare issue was straightfoward to me but you find some judges taking a republican edge to it. Comeon, society should look after their vanulrable folks. That's justice to me. Congrats President Obama.
